Our health guarantee.

We take pride in the fact that our relationship with you doesn't end when you take a puppy home. As conscientious breeders, experienced puppy counselors, and die-hard puppy lovers, we'd like to believe nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies.

However, certain things are never in our control. A puppy's health depends on many factors: genetics, exercise, food, nourishment, and overall care. If something does go wrong, we always strive to help — often even when our guarantee doesn't cover it. While we can't guarantee your puppy will never have a health problem, we guarantee that we will do our best to ensure your new family member is a healthy one.

Exceptions to our guarantee

Nothing delights us more than knowing we were able to bring a healthy, happy puppy to you. To help keep your puppy that way, we ask that you:

  • Send us a copy of the vet examination within 2 business days of receiving your puppy (performed by a licensed veterinarian).
  • Do not vaccinate your puppy within the first ten days of arrival — puppies come with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations.
  • Handle the daily healthcare and maintenance of your pet, including recommended immunizations and exams.
  • Continue proper de-worming and regular exams up to 16 weeks of age or more (or as recommended by your vet).
